What was reported
We posted the filings prior to the effective date of the policy, with the correct limits . However, the filings showed as PENDING, while the expiring carrier’s filings were showing as ACTIVE but CANCELLED. As a result, the insured’s authority was revoked.
I have since reposted the filings, and they are now showing as ACTIVE. However, the insured’s authority is still showing as INACTIVE.
This has directly disrupted the insured’s operations and is causing them to lose loads and business opportunities. This issue needs to be corrected immediately.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have encountered this problem, and we have also been made aware of other carriers experiencing the same issue. Given that our filings were submitted correctly and prior to the effective date, the resulting disruption is creating unnecessary exposure and potential liability.
Please investigate this matter and take whatever action is necessary to have the insured’s authority restored immediately. Please also confirm once the authority has been properly reinstated and is showing as ACTIVE.
